the GOLDEN DREGS Share New Cut "Sundown Lake"
Today, UK songwriter Benjamin Woods shares “Sundown Lake,” a new song from his upcoming GOLDEN DREGS album, ‘On Grace & Dignity.’ Following earlier single ‘American Airlines,’ this new coming-of-age track is full of nostalgia with bandleader Benjamin Woods –joined by Issie Armstrongon backing vocals –musing on hazy memories of teenage life in Cornwall.
For the ‘On Grace & Dignity.’ visuals (including todays visualizer above!), Woods commissioned Bristol-based model-maker Edie Lawrence to construct an HO-scale fictional Cornish town. Christened Polgras, the 8 ft by 4ft model features a viaduct, an estuary, a supermarket, new-build houses and industrial
buildings; with every song from ‘On Grace & Dignity.’ is represented by a scene in the town.
