Beggars Arkive reissued two Love And Rockets records: Their debut, ‘Seventh Dream Of Teenage Heaven’, & sophomore effort, ‘Express’
Formed in 1985 after the split of their band Bauhaus, their debut album ‘Seventh Dream of Teenage Heaven’ is an unashamedly psychedelic adventure far removed from the dark, angular soundscapes of their previous group. Following their debut came their 1986 sophomore record, ‘Express,’ which “…laid the foundation for alt-rock” – NPR.
