Overmono Detail Debut Album 'Good Lies' - Share "Is U" Along With Select Canadian Live Dates
UK electronic duo Overmono present their debut album ‘Good Lies’, arriving via XL Recordings May 10th, 2023. Highly anticipated would be an understatement; since their inception they’ve purposefully cultivated a fanbase that heralds them as one of the UK’s most original contemporary live electronic acts. Now, brothers Ed and Tom Russell return to present their most ambitious release to date, a twelve track journey through a powerful distillation of their musical career so far. ‘Good Lies’ remoulds and interweaves captivating vocal cuts into a series of multi-genre electronic sounds that flits effortlessly between euphoria and melancholy. Out today is lead single, “Is U”, which follows singles “Walk Thru Water” and “So U Kno” that will also appear on their debut.
The album arrives on Standard Black and Limited Edition Crystal Clear Vinyl, as well as CD. Ahead of its release, Overmono have announced tour dates in Toronto (April 6th, Velvet Underground) and Montreal (April 7th, SAT).
