David Letterman returned to the Ed Sullivan Theatre on Nov 20th for the first time since retiring from the hosting chair. For his homecoming Letterman hand picked The National to be the musical guest for the night. The band, who were in the midst of a world tour, dropped everything to return to the legendary stage to perform “Space Invader“ for their newfound fan.
