Fontaines D.C. take Glastonbury by storm

On Friday night, Fontaines D.C. headlined Glastonbury’s Park Stage with an emphatic performance and undoubtably one of the weekends defining sets.

In a sweep of five-star reviews, NME proclaimed FDC “the defining band of their generation”; The Telegraph said they “capture the feeling of the nation”; Mojo called the performance “a convincing case to be future headliners”. But the best summary of the night came from Dork, who wrote: “As the final notes fade away, one thing is clear: Fontaines D.C. are staking their claim as one of the most vital bands of their generation. Transformative, addictive, and utterly brilliant – much like the band themselves. They’re one of a kind, and gloriously so.”
