After releasing her critically acclaimed debut album With A Hammer Yaeji returned to the studio in between her US and EU tour, the result is “easy breezy“ a brand new track ahead of headlining the Roundhouse in London. Drawing inspiration from the Japanese and Korean music she grew up with, Fantastic Plastic Machine, Clazziquai and Humming Urban Stereo, she combines Bossa nova style guitar sample with her unique beats and vocals with aplomb. Fans will appreciate a lyrical through line with references to tracks “Done (Let’s Get It)” and “Year to Year”.
