Koreless Returns With New Single “Seven”

Lewis Roberts aka Koreless returns to once again push the boundaries of electronic music with the release of “Seven”

“Seven has been a long time coming. After pouring everything into the intricate process of making his critically acclaimed debut album Agor (“a simply breathtaking debut album” – The Quietus), Koreless moved to the rural countryside in Wales from London and created “Seven” out of a post-album liberation.

That energy is encapsulated in the effervescent track which has been a favourite for DJs like Daphni, Four Tet, Batu, Benji B, Courtesy, and HAAi, who featured an alternative version – “Seven (Drumhell)” – on her DJ Kicks compilation released last year.

Although this marks Koreless’s first solo release in over two years, he has been actively involved in several acclaimed collaborations during this period. He produced an original score for Thomas Hardiman’s murder mystery film, MEDUSA DELUXE, and worked closely with choreographer Sharon Eyal and Gai Behar on ‘Into The Hairy’, highlighting his unique ability to seamlessly meld music and movement.

Meanwhile, Koreless maintains his enduring collaborative relationship with FKA twigs. In her recent Vogue cover interview, twigs referred to Koreless as the “guiding light” on her forthcoming album, which builds on past projects together including MAGDELENE, CAPRISONGS, and “unearth her” performed at Valentino L’École.

“Seven” marks the beginning of a new chapter for “an artist that has been subtly shaping British dance music.” (Crack Magazine) with plans for more music over the coming months.
