Overmono & The Streets ‘Turn The Page’

A year after the release of their critically acclaimed debut album Good Lies, Overmono return with their highly-sought after version of The Streets “Turn The Page”. The single premiered on BBC Radio 1’s Hottest Record of the Week with Jack Saunders and has now been released worldwide via XL Recordings’ iconic housebag series. 

Overmono (aka Tom and Ed Russell) first performed their version of The Streets’ “Turn The Page” at the 2022 edition of Lost Village Festival to a rapturous response. It has since grown into a word-of-mouth phenomenon with fans and critics across the globe calling for its release. Hailed by Rolling Stone UK as a “glitchy techno banger”, the track has emerged as a pinnacle moment in the duo’s critically acclaimed live show over the last two years. From their Coachella debut to their viral Boiler Room set, and more recent sold-out headline show at London’s The Roundhouse, Overmono’s “Turn The Page” continues to resonate across continents, solidifying its status as a timeless dancefloor anthem.

“Turn The Page” arrives a year on from the release of Good Lies (“UK rave history is distilled to perfection” – The Guardian) which entered UK Charts at at #11 and is widely regarded as one of the greatest electronic records released in recent years. In the last year, Overmono have released a string of singles including “Blow Out”, Freedom 2 (with Kwengface and Joy Orbison), and recently stayinit with Lil Yachty and Fred again.. which followed an impromptu pop-up rave in New York and The Lot Radio set. All the while they’ve dominated the live circuit, performing at the best venues and festivals across the globe including Fuji Rock, Coachella, Portola, Primavera, Ancienne Belgique, Brooklyn Steel, and Santa Barbara Bowl where they performed as the special guest for The Chemical Brothers.
